Addison sits in the middle of DuPage County, surrounded by Elmhurst to the east, Bloomingdale to the north, and Villa Park to the south. The ZIP covers a mix of postwar ranches, split-levels, and newer construction built during the suburb's growth through the 70s and 80s. A lot of those homes are hitting 40 to 50 years old now, which means aging bathrooms, unfinished basements, and layouts that no longer match how families actually live. Army Trail Road and Lake Street run through the area and anchor most of the commercial activity, but the residential streets off those corridors are where we do most of our work.
DuPage County winters are no joke. Addison gets the same freeze-thaw cycles that hit the rest of northeastern Illinois, and those cycles work on basements, tile grout, and exterior transitions year after year. Summers bring humidity that punishes poorly ventilated spaces. Homeowners here deal with moisture in basements, cracked bathroom tile, and aging fixtures that have just hit their limit. These aren't cosmetic problems. They're the kind of issues that get worse the longer you wait.
