Glendale Heights sits in the heart of DuPage County, bordered by Bloomingdale to the north, Carol Stream to the west, and Villa Park to the south. The area grew fast in the 1960s and 1970s, and that shows in the homes. Most of the housing stock is split-levels, ranches, and two-story colonials built between 1960 and 1985. Those homes have good bones, but they need updates. Kitchens shrink, bathrooms age out, and basements sit unfinished for decades. That's where we come in.
Winters in 60139 hit hard. The area sits at roughly 700 feet above sea level in the DuPage County lowlands, and freeze-thaw cycles do real damage over time. Basement moisture is common. Older bathroom tile cracks. Grout fails. Homeowners here also deal with aging infrastructure inside the house, not just outside. A lot of the population in Glendale Heights skews toward long-term residents, people who've owned their homes for 20 or 30 years and are finally ready to invest in the space they've been living in.
